Tunitis Creek     California

One of my favorite beaches. In fact, I am somewhat reluctant to list this beach because
many people abuse it by leaving trash. I have spent many weekends alone on this
stretch of beach due to the difficulty of reaching the beach.  A few years ago CalTrans
added some drainage pipes that provided access.  Even so, the 300 foot cliffs can be a
problem because the trail washed out routinely and poison oak abounds.  If you can get
to the beach, you can experience California. The southern end has cliffs for climbing.

No formal parking exists for this beach.  Most people park along the Pacific Coast
Highway and are not bothered by the California Highway Patrol.
