Cayucos California
A small town on the central coast about twelve miles north of Morrow Bay, Cayucos is
overlooked by just about everyone.  With a few hotels, a few restaurants, and some
vacation rentals Cayucos is a  place to get away.  The beach is wide and the sand is very
fine.  You can see Dolphins, seals, and numerous birds almost daily.  There is really no
place to surf, unless you want to paddle surf, or take a chance by the pier.

the beach.
Schooners Wharf has several draft beers and a full bar.
The menu has become pricey, but the view upstairs is
unsurpassed.  Unfortunately Cayucos is the end of the road
for visitors from the central valley and sometimes they can
be ugly, so caution is advised.  My favorite seat below (
which I was forced to leave during my meal by a drunken
visitor, offers an exceptional view and breeze
